現在は両系統ともに1時間に2便程度の運行であり、156系統は土休日は全便が滝頭 - 桜木町駅間の運行とされている。桜木町駅と滝頭の間を、横浜市電が運行していた旧市街地を経由して運行する系統である。 1952年以前： 10系統磯子 - 願行寺前 - 湘南杉田駅前 - 峯の運行となる。 2006年3月27日： 76・ 2004年2月1日： みなとみらい線開通に伴う路線再編により145系統を142系統と統合し赤レンガ倉庫へ延長。 2022年4月1日より運行を開始した。
